Trequanda is a very small town, is located on the border of the clay area (crete senesi) and the val d' Orcia. Is deep in the forest and is a paradise for relax and those who like biking or hiking.

Yvonne from UK
We stayed at a fattoria in the area June 2005. Although Trequanda is a small village, it has every shop that you could require. Even English newspapers were on sale the same day as publication.
We found all the shopkeepers very friendly and helpful.
Special recognition must go to the restaurant Conte Matto, the food there is outstanding. It is worth a visit to Trequanda just to eat at the restaurant. My husband still dreams of the Wild Boar in chocolate and raisin sauce.
Trequanda itself is well placed to visit all the towns and villages in Southern Tuscany.
We shall certainly return.
