We visited San Gimignano 4 years ago. It is a very pretty town, but extremely touristy. However some excellent restaurants and the scenery is suberb.
Enjoy it, we did.

Nicola Mccormick from UK
This town is really worth a visit. It has many shops for tourists whilst retaining he charm and is very picturesque. The main square is lovely with a choice of restaurants. We wish we had spent 2 or 3 nights here just to soak up the atmosphere. The towers are to be seen.
