The area of Castiglione is full of treasures, from it and within walking distance you can reach the medieval tower of Rocca d' Orcia and Bagno Vignoni. Only 7 km far there is San Quirico d' Orcia which is a lovely town and in few minutes by car Pienza or Montepulciano.
You can't say you have been in Tuscany if you don't visit these towns !
