RED WINE - CHIANTI
Chianti wine

The Chianti is no doubt one of the leading and best known typical tuscan wines. It is produced on the hills within the province of Siena and Firenze. The one we suggest is a Chianti D.O.C.G. produced by a famous farm. Vine: Sangiovese 75-100%, Canaiolo black up to 10%, tuscan Trebbiano and/or Malvasia del Chianti up to 10%. Area of origin: several cities within the provinces of Firenze and Siena.
Colour: clear, ruby-red lively.
Fragrance: deeply winy with scent of violet, plum, goudron and liquorice.
Taste
: full bodied, tannic soured, very soft.
Minimum alcoholic degree: 12,5°.
Minimum ageing: to be issued not before the 1st of June after the grape harvest. The Chianti Reserve requires 2 years starting from the 1st of January after the grape harvest.

RED WINE - CHIANTI GALLO NERO
Chianti wine red

The Chianti classico Gallo Nero D.O.C.G. is an excellent classic tuscan red wine. Vine: Sangiovese 75-100%, Canaiolo black up to 10%, tuscan Trebbiano and/or Malvasia del Chianti up to 5%. Area of origin: several cities within the provinces of Firenze and Siena.
Colour: lively ruby leaning to a garnet red with the ageing.
Fragrance: elegant scent, harmonious with a smell of violet.
Taste: soft and persistent, harmonious, slightly tannic.
Minimum alcoholic degree: 12,5°.
Minimum ageing: to be issued not before the 1st of June after the grape harvest.

TUSCAN RED WINE
Tuscan red wine

The Morellino of Scansano is a classic tuscan product, coming from the Grosseto province. Typical tuscan red table wine, the Morellino of Scansano Vine: minimum 85% of Sangiovese; allowed a maximum of 15% of other red vines. Area of origin: different towns within the Grosseto province.
Colour: intense ruby-red, leaning towards a garnet red with orange glints on its ageing.
Fragrance: intense, constant, fruity if new, ethereal if aged.
Taste: dry, fruity, warm, slightly tannic, harmonic, good taste persistence, it becomes velvety with a fine goudron.
Alcoholic minimum degree: 11,5°; kind of wine "reserve" 12°.
Minimum ageing: expected only for the kind "reserve", 2 years.
