Livorno is a big town and is an important harbour in the mediterranean
sea. From here there are ships that link Italy to France,
Spain and North Africa. The town itself is beautiful near
the harbour and the walk by the sea where there are many liberty
style houses well preserved. Driving inside the town is caotic
and it is almost impossible to find a parking.
The streets around piazza Grande and Piazza Cavour are full
of shops (also famous brands) and from there you can also
see the characteristic channels.
As you can you see from the transport
page Livorno is very well connected with the rest of Tuscany
and with the north or south of Italy.
