If you have been in Monteroni d' Arbia, send

Monteroni is not a touristic town, but the landscape is the
typical of the south of Siena. The clay hills begin here and
arriva to Rapolano at east and at San Giovanni d' Asso to
the south. The location is perfect for tourists which prefer
stay close to Siena, 12 Kms and to the south of Siena, Montalcino,
Pienza and Montepulciano. The road which go from Monteroni
to the Ville di Corsano is one of the places more photographed
in Tuscany.

We spent 3 weeks in Monteroni in July 2005 and feel in love with the area and the people. So much so we went back at Thanksgiving time for 6 days. We rented the Villa Tianio and spent our days visiting the beautiful towns nearby, Montalcino, Pienza, Siena, too many to name. We are planning on returning to the same villa in Sept. 2007. We miss our friends that we made while there although we email back and forth.
