We where three couple from Sweden spending two weeks in Guardiastallo summer 2005. It was a wonderful time for us. We rent scooters in Ceccina for looking at the surrounding area. We visit Ceccina, Montescudaio, Volterra, and other places in the region and one day we take a trip to the island of Elba by bus. We rent a wonderful apartment in the Recidence Villa Elena by the family Sforzino. Our visit and the welcome we feel by the inhabitant of Guardiastello, made it easy to decide to rent the same apartment for the summer 2006. This was our second time that we been in Guardistallo, and it’s still a wonderful place to bee. We spend three weeks in Italy this summer. The first week we travel around in Milan and Bergamo. We spend a couple of days in La Specia and the Cinque Terre, but then we retired to Guardistallo and the Residence Villa Elena, a place we learn to love. It was fantastic to meet the family Sforzini and the other citizens of the village again. We meet people that we know from last year, and they was still very nice and kind to us. As we do last year we rent scooters in Ceccina and discover interesting places in Tuscany. We be back summer 2007 that’s sure.
