Sorano is a lovely place to spend a few days in. My family and I have a house there and it is like a second home to us. The towns people are very nice, and enjoy having new people come there. There are a few exceptionally good restaurants and breath taking views . I suggest that if you are in the area, stay in the fort hotel, and that you visit San Giminiano. It is about a 45 min. drive from Sorano.
