Gargonza is a walk in the past. The Borgo is perfectly preserved
and very very beautiful. From Monte San Savino there is a
beautiful road which bring you to Gargonza, also from Lucignano
there is a country road which coonect with Gargonza. Inside
the town there is nothing, just a hotel and the nature around.

It's real Italy, people living day by day in a real village.
We were captivated by this area & the castle & we
were there in off season.

Charming, comfortable, quiet - a great place to catch your breath, but still close enough to places you want to see. The restaurant down the hill was quite good when we were there.
